The license
Buying Sandwich grants you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the app on Macs you own or control. One purchase, no subscription; updates are included. You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense the app or your download link.
Purchases
Payment is processed by Polar, our merchant of record; your receipt comes from them. All sales are final — Sandwich licenses are non-refundable.
Third-party services
The app's transcription and cleanup features rely on third-party services. Their availability is outside our control, and those features require an internet connection. Editing, preview and export work offline.
Open-source components
Sandwich bundles FFmpeg as a separate helper executable under the GPL. The notice, build configuration and source links ship inside the app under Settings → General → Third-Party Notices.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep your edits safe — exports never overwrite originals — but to the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost footage, lost profits or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the version published here applies. Material changes will be noted on this page.
